Our Bachelor’s Days is a two-day virtual event designed to introduce future undergraduate students to our University’s unique learning experience and highly sought-after courses. This is a free online event for students looking to further their education by pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in some of today’s most popular fields of study.
Simply register via the above link and join us on 21 & 22 April 2021, 16.00 to 19.00, for two fun and interactive days involving live presentations of our bachelor’s programmes, live chats with our student administration staff, as well as, a virtual tour of our unique University Campus, all delivered to you via our, specially designed, online platform.
If you have not had the chance to discover our Bachelor’s programmes, please take a moment to explore our Bachelor’s section and familiarise with the vast range of Bachelor’s degrees currently on offer at the University of Luxembourg.
Once informed about your study options, click on “Register now” to reserve your place in our Bachelor’s Days. You will be redirected to our registration page and asked to select the live presentations that you wish to attend. You are welcome to register for more than one presentation, however, please make sure you cross-check the timeslots as these might overlap for some of our presentations. Details on the schedule of the different presentations will be given on the registration form.
Shortly after registering your interest in one or more Bachelor’s presentations, a confirmation of your registration will be sent to your email address. Between 19 and 20 April, you will receive an email with instructions on how to join the live presentations. If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact carole.dessart@uni.lu.
During the presentations, our Professors will introduce themselves and give a brief introduction to our University. They will then present their Bachelor’s study programme in detail (e.g. structure of the programme, modules, entry requirements and details on exams, as well as, internships, job opportunities, etc.). Some presentations will involve current students or members of our alumni community talking about their own experience studying with us. At the end of each presentation, you will have the opportunity to interact with our professors and students and ask them your own questions!

Whatever the discipline, choosing a Bachelor’s degree means choosing a specialisation correlating with a professional project and a profession that you would like to follow in the future. A diploma is not a goal but a means to reach your goal. Ask yourself the following questions:
All applications to our programmes must be submitted online. Before filling out the online application form, please make sure you take the time to familiarize with the study programme and its entry requirements.
Once you have completed the online application form, you will need to download all required documents from our website. We will inform you on the outcome of your application either by post or email, within 4 to 6 weeks upon receipt of your application.
Most of our Bachelor’s programmes last for 3 years (equivalent to 6 semesters).
A limited number of programmes last for 2 years. All of our Bachelor’s are also offered for study on a part-time basis. If you opt for the part-time option, the duration of the programme would be double compared to the duration of the full-time programme.
The admissions to our Bachelors are based on the evaluation conducted by our selection committee.
All our Bachelors are at least bilingual while some are trilingual. Classes are taught in English, French and German.
The University of Luxembourg owns 35 student residences with a total of 1,097 units. Some units are located in Luxembourg City with the majority spread around the Southern communes of the country, in close proximity to our Belval campus.

Students enrolled on the Bachelor in Law degree course are given the choice of completing either a placement or a dissertation during the third and final year of the Bachelor degree course.
Career opportunities
Most legal careers require long studies (bachelor and master). The Bachelor in Law at the University of Luxembourg leads to several master programmes in law with different specialisations, either abroad or in Luxembourg. Luxembourg’s transnational Bachelor in Law, through its intercultural approach and its flexibility, has the advantage of better preparing students for continuing their studies in a variety fields and in different countries.

Career opportunities
The Bachelor in Sciences Economiques is designed to prepare its graduate to pursue studies primarily in a Master’s degree in the field of economics, finance or management, at the University of Luxembourg or abroad.
It can also be the gateway to business school or master’s degrees in specialties other than those mainly taught, such as politics or economic law.

During the final semester a placement in a business, a spart of which students write a report and subsequently discuss it in a viva voce examination is mandatory.
Career opportunities
The aim of the corporate management specialisation is to train managers who are highly skilled in business management methods (audit and corporate governance, in particular) and have in-depth knowledge of the economic, social and legal environment in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg.
The specialisations based on management of insurance companies and management of banks prepare students for work in the financial sector. Students receive training in professions relating to private banking and investment funds.
